My Time Will Come

My Time Will Come is an inspiring memoir about an activist and his experience in the justice system. Ian Manuel was tied as an adult and was sentenced to life in prison when he was only 13 years old. He details what life was like while he was incarcerated, in solitary confinement, and how poetry helped him through that time. He writes about all the things that he had to learn about the world that you and I would find to be normal or common sense, but since he was incarcerated at such a young age, Manuel never learned some of the valuable life skills that we did. This is a memoir about Manuel's hope for the future of what the justice system has the possibilities of becoming with the help of people like you.
